Just giving a Shout Out to Our New Home
|
Well, we'd like to thank all of our members for sticking by us for so long. I don't know why the site is still up but hey, it's up and so that's cool.
Several of our staff have decided to continue on in the industry. In fact, Me (Andrew Thornton), HeroofTime (Brandon Carlson), StingX (Sam Evans) and Coolbrys are all now writing for www.e-mpire.com. Valiek is considering joining the staff ...

Shadow bids you adieu
|
Well, well well. I like a lot of the other staff members here at VG-Force saw the threads that Matt posted on the GameFaqs site looking for some dedicated staff to help run his Nin-Force website. Much like MasterGamer I signed up just for some holiday fun, to try and cure my boredom. Little did I know how much this site would evolve and become what it has to this day. I was never the most dedicate...

Goodbye to an incredible site...
|
Over three years ago, when I was 14, I saw an ad on a Gamefaqs message board requesting assistance in the development of a video game web site. I remember applying, thinking it was going to be a temporary release of my boredom, I would learn soon that what was then Nin-Force would become much, much more. I started off doing reviews and a couple editorials. A certain half-life review gathered a par...

RIP Old Friend
|
When I was brought aboard I really thought it was just a quaint little site. I really had no idea that we would grow as much as we did. Sure we never hit the top but we put up a great fight. There were down times, server crashes, lots of redesigns, but the quality almost always remained the same.
Sometimes I'd be shocked that our articles were actually read by people, and other times I was ama...

Bing147 saying goodbye to a big part of his life
|
In my freshman year of high school, I decided that I wanted to review games for a living. I don't know where this urge came from, probably from me being very opinionated and my love of games. But I decided that someday I would live my dream. Little did I know that this dream would come true less than 6 months later when a man named Matthew Moses was generous enough to give me a shot. I saw a post ...

Far Cry 360 in the works, XBox gets sequel
|
Gamers may just be finishing up Jack Carver's first tropical-island adventure on the Xbox, but that doesn't mean it's too early for a sequel. Though the critically acclaimed Far Cry Instincts was just released in late September, Ubisoft today announced plans for a new chapter of Far Cry to appear on both the Xbox and Xbox 360 this spring.
Far Cry Instincts Next Chapter (working title) co...

|
TOKYO--Sega has announced it has delayed the Japanese release of Phantasy Star Universe. The game was originally slated for release on the PlayStation 2 and PC on February 16, but the release date has been pushed back to March 30 for both platforms. The company cites "quality improvement" as the main reason for the delay. No mention was made of the US and European releases, which are still slated ...

DS Sales exceed 13.5 million worldwide; Nintendo may be struggling to keep enough units in Japanese channel.
While most eyes are on the upcoming next-generation console war, Nintendo sent out a little reminder that the battle for handheld gaming is still raging. Tuesday, the Japanese company revealed that nearly 4 million units of its DS handheld have been sold in the US.
